The Trust Practice
Email Trust
A fixed-fee, fixed-scope diagnostic focused on the Email Integrity domain, assessing your domain estate’s email authentication and trust posture and producing a clear evidence pack with prioritised next steps.
Narrower in scope. Same Review model.
Email Trust is a scoped Review variant within The Trust Practice. It applies the same core Review model to a narrower area of focus: the Email Integrity domain.
Where a full Review assesses all six TrustSurface domains and produces a cross-domain evidence pack, Email Trust concentrates on email-related trust signals, configuration patterns, governance gaps & operational risks across your domain estate. It is an assessment and advisory engagement - not a remediation or implementation service.
What's in and what's not
In scope
- Assessment of the Email Integrity domain only
- Observable signal collection across domains owned or controlled by the organisation
- Email authentication posture - SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MX posture, and related observable controls
- Domain estate inventory and classification where possible
- Identification of configuration risks, control gaps, and priority uplift areas
- Governance and ownership interpretation, not just technical findings
- Fixed scope, fixed fee - no hourly billing
Not in scope
- Hands-on remediation or implementation delivery
- DNS changes or policy progression on your behalf
- Mailbox or user configuration
- Campaign performance or deliverability strategy
- Assessment of the other five TrustSurface domains
- Ongoing monitoring or managed services
Deliverables
- Executive summary of current email trust posture
- Domain estate inventory, with domains classified by role where possible
- Current controls assessment covering SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MX posture, and related observable controls
- Findings and evidence pack with source references
- Trust interpretation - what the findings mean operationally and in governance terms
- Prioritised action list covering remediation priorities, sequencing, and ownership considerations
- Readout session to walk through findings and answer questions
Three steps to a focused assessment
Confirm the domain estate in scope, relevant context, and any known sending systems, controls, or constraints.
Review observable email trust signals and configuration patterns across the domain estate, identify control gaps, and interpret the posture they create.
Provide a structured evidence pack, clear interpretation, and a prioritised action list so your team can decide what to address next and how.
Duration: 1–2 weeks depending on domain estate size and complexity. Delivery: remote-first.
Fixed fee, banded by domain count and complexity
Scope and pricing are agreed upfront. No hourly billing.
A short scoping conversation confirms the domain count, complexity, and cost before you commit. No prerequisite is required.
Relationship to the full Review
Email Trust is a scoped Review variant focused on one TrustSurface domain: Email Integrity. It applies the same diagnostic and advisory model as the full Review, but to a narrower area of concern.
When to choose Email Trust
- Email trust posture is the immediate concern
- You want a focused diagnostic rather than a full six-domain assessment
- You need a clear evidence pack and prioritised next steps for internal remediation
When to start with a full Review instead
- You need a view across all six TrustSurface domains
- Leadership needs a broader governance-ready evidence pack
- The problem scope is unclear and may extend beyond email trust
Email Trust can also inform Stewardship where periodic advisory review of email trust posture is needed.
Ready to assess your email trust posture?
A short enquiry is all it takes. Scope and cost can be confirmed quickly from a domain count, a brief description of your situation, and the level of complexity in the estate.
